Hope this thread lives a while. Hard to get long lasting threads here on TV.
Been using hangouts a lot, perhaps even more than talk before it. It’s pretty great, though I am looking forward to higher adoption rates via SMS integration.

It really isn’t. They’ve come a long way. Besides, look at the Galaxy Nexus which uses even older AMOLED tech. Still works fine.

The iPad seems to function similarly to iOS where it just re-renders everything at 2x (hence the double of h/v pixel count from the older iPads). Android, on the other hand, yeah, it has pretty good resolution-agnostic scaling, but the developer really does have to play into the system.
