I am sure that PeTA will show up at some point and tell all of us how cruel are being for needlessly killing such a great animal like the wild boar. I am sure they are mounting a “save the river rat” (Nutria) campaign as we speak, and that is also an invasive species.
Seems like we could feed all the hungry in the country, and take care of an invasive species.
Last year they didn’t announce when the tickets would be on sale (Or even the dates of the conference) until the exact time they went on sale. This year they announced a few days ahead of time when the tickets would go on sale. So everyone was cued up and ready to go this time, hence the short sellout time.
1- If Android is so secure, why are there so many 3rd party security applications for it?
2- I trust “these features coming soon” on android phones about as much as I trust EPA milage estimates.
3- I think he means that Jelly Bean was not created by Google with this kind of security in mind. So it is a feature that Samsung is attempting to bolt onto the OS. My guess is that it has not been smooth sailing thus far, which is why they need to delay it until “some future date”. But I am sure that Samsung phone of “some future date” will be much more flexible and much more secure than today’s iPhone is.
More laws makes more criminals, causing crime stats to go up, not down. Criminals are not known to care about laws (hence their being criminals). So I am wary of any new law to “reduce crime”. More like “increase prison populations”.
And just remember, the Oregon Mall shooter, and the Sandy Hook Shooter did not buy/own the guns they used. No background check in the world is going to stop someone who steals a gun from someone else. And we have so many guns in this country it would be impossible to get them all out of the hands of the citizens.
Our nanny government can not save us from every bad thing that may ever happen.
