I really wanted to get the One, but the Verge’s review of the camera made me think twice. Good in low light, but not so good in bright light. I’ve stuck with the Samsung Galaxy Nexus and will probably continue to do so until the X phone, whenever that’s due. It’s too bad, because I agree that HTC makes the best looking phones aside from Apple. I saw an ad for the One before Star Trek. It was styled like a behind the scenes Jony Ive design interview and nearly convinced me to buy.
I wish there were a news site where I could read news that wasn’t sensationalized. Although I could argue that the NY Times and the Financial Times do a pretty good job.
Prediction: Fox News takes the quote out of context and cuts together a series of Eric Schmidt clips advocating evil deeds, under the heading: “Eric Schmidt thinks Google’s ’Don’t Be Evil’ slogan is stupid.”
Next up— in vitro fertilization clinic adds rider to contract stating that any babies resulting from their process must use their patented methods to create successive generations…
