my own opinion is that 40,000 fanatic creepy guys gathering in a stadium about backwards-oriented ideas are more prone to dangerous racial stereotypes than humor – even the least funny kind of the latter.
Religion is a matter of personal belief and ethos. It should not go public in the form of proselytic, sexist mass meetings. Humor is a lean way to deal with fears, resentment or disapprobation. Get over it…

How creepy, how despairing… It’s like, thousands of years of evolution and history are worthless. Society still allows enormous gatherings of beard-wearing males preaching for obscurantism. It’s a sad, sad, world.

we had a few similar issues at Essec Business School (Paris) when we bought the front (calander+headlamps) of a ‘71 T-bird on eBay, got it shipped from the US and hung it above the entrance door of the student’s bar, with a smoke machine behind the calander and infamous LED PAR in place of the headlamp bulbs, all computer-controlled (using SunLite).
The fire alarm would panic each time we’d fire up the rig in the middle of the afternoon with loud music while people in the library behinf were working on their thesis.
Go figure…
