I’m the other way around, so have a main UK account, and a secondary US account. You can authorise both on iTunes and sync apps from both to one iOS device.

Just sign out of one account and sign up for a new UK one to make UK purchases. You have to switch between them during app updates but that’s never been much of an issue for me, seeing as I usually only do app updates once every 2-3 weeks.

I don’t like my MBA’s keyboard as much as my Apple Bluetooth Beyboard but that’s mainly because of the layout (MBA – US; BT – UK)… There’s not much travel on either but to be honest, I find typing for prolonged periods far better on the BT Keyboard, not because it’s better than the Air’s keyboard, but because I can adjust the angle it sits in relation to my desk.

Compared with the previous Apple keyboards (especially the Extended Keyboard II), which I love and could use forever, the current ones are all surprisingly good for spending a day coding or writing. I never thought I’d say that when they first came along though.

Roll your own rsync based system to an online service with storage based in your locale, and a fast path between you and them. Dropbox (based on Amazon’s S3) is slower because of checksumming at both ends, combined with various other file operations on both their service and the S3 storage they use. IIRC, they don’t use S3 services outside of the US.

FaceTime streams video phone to phone. You implement video voicemail, where are you going to place it in that system? The easiest thing to do is for your phone to record video and then send it on to hers. And your phone, as you admit, already has a feature to do that. So why duplicate that functionality elsewhere in the device?

I’d use the advice already posted in the replies in this thread to attempt to find the owner, and reunite him/her with their device.

The “finders keepers” approach has legal repercussions, even in the US (varies from state to state, contrary to what dnyank says).
