What hoops?
NOW :
1. Go to gamestore
2. Trade in game
THEN :
1. Go to gamestore
2. Trade in game
?!?!??
Oh, you MIGHT get lower prices, that’s the only thing. Also you can’t sell anywhere else, if that was your main thing?

A 7200rpm external disk with a USB3.0 connection will be on par with an internal HDD with a SATA3 connection (for the reasons you mentioned).
But most exHDD’s come with 5400rpms, and thought they are using USB3 it is a subpar experience and you mostly get USB2 speeds out of them :/ So you’ll need to buy expensive external HDD’s where if the internal was replaceable it wouldn’t be an issue. Also, i don’t like HDD’s lying about my console.
Still getting a XB1, the second version will probably be improved though, with a bigger disk, smaller case and HDD upgradeability.

I’m on the same boat. As a user that used to pirate every bit of software he used, Apple (of all companies) changed that for me. The $1 apps made me realize that spending money on software is okey, and actually the right way to go.
Now I buy my games on Steam (even though I can easily DL them off the net pirated) and have even licensed my OS’es.
The only thing worrying me is IP region checks on the market.
My live account is UK base but I reside in Turkey. I’ve been using the account on Win8 & WP8. Both have access to the UK library where I buy my software from and have had no issues.
But I’ve seen people set up VPN’s in my country for the XBOX DL’s so it is worrying me :(

I never did – I’m actually going to buy the XB1 (unless they do an active IP check. My live account is UK based but I live in Turkey).
But I was opposing the notion that you just click play and it loads like a youtube video.

After the 40gb download is done ^^
I hope they implement partial download & play (as blizzard does with their games atm).

Not if you bought the disc version. For that to happen Sony would need to implement the EXACT same online DRM check as MS.

Those alarms are set into the app though – not the real alarm. The Issue I have with TellMe is that it is STILL just a command interpreter. It should allready start to understand what I’m saying and interact with that.

Tell me is stupid.
There I have said it.
It might work better then Google Now at voice recognition alone (it does not by the way), but it ultimately fails as it is a standard command interpeter. It does not try and understand what I mean. My L920 can’t even set the alarm for 9am if i tell it to.
If i want to search wikipedia (with the app installed) here’s the scenario ;
- LOOOONG press (this should be better imo, shorter at least. 1000ms tops)
- Search Wikipedia
- Wait for app to load, wait for phone to ask me again
- “X-Files”
See? It should just be ;
- Shorter press
- Search the “XXX” app for “YYY”.
It should check if the app has a “search connection” and proceed if so – OR just say “the app does not support searching”.
ALL it does is let you repeat pre-defined words – which is very very very VERY stupid and retarded.
Disclamiler ;
- L920 owner
- W8pro owner (legal copy, on a 2x monitor desktop PC)
- Heavy live user (skydrive etc.)
MS can go and suck on it – they are increasingly irritating with their speed to market. Siri was years ago.

Are you new to writing in general?

Scratch that what about punctuation? Hell – periods?

Quantum Break for sure, the rest are just your standard console games. Though RYSE has fantastic emotion animations – loved that. (the way the face changes and mouth moves according to what he says etc.)

I’m still not sure what they are saying? I’ve had a live account for many years, UK based – but i’m living in Turkey.
For all marketplaces I use the live account on my LOCAL bought L920 & win8. I can use the UK marketplace (yes even songs I shouldn’t be able to last time i checked) and buy them. I had gone through the trouble of somehow (cough cough) adding my credit card and show them I was living in the UK.
I don’t use IP conceiling (VPN or otherwise) but never got IP locked out (not counting HULU and Netflix ofc).
I’m presuming that the XB1 will work this way too? I’ll just buy games from the UK marketplace and the seller (MS) will think I’m @ the UK – right?
Unless they do an IP check (which i doubt, since they haven’t done it with their other marketplace).
Does anyone have a clear answer to if they are going to IP check my location?

Even so this should have been worded that this was not likely (as it is an extreme thing to happen). The guy with the walkie talkie (that was the prime suspect of being an undercover cop) got arrested the same day, he turned out to be a member of one of the far-left political parties with a 6 month prior jail time (?) under his belt.

Yes you’re right, I agree with you. But one should always be aware of highly doubtful claims like these and try to weed them out. Misinformation will tumble with legitimate reasons and in the end – like you said – it will hurt their credibility.

I’ll try to be optimistic, but can’t see any other outcome then “ok we’ll take it down.. and build another one – don’t worry, you won’t know”.
Unless of course there is some change in the way things are set up and the government is under heavy “surveillance” from… the citizens? I don’t know, this is a hard one.
