This looks like it is unfinished.
You have this great intro and warmup session, then a header and 3/4 of the following part as more of an “intro” about the issue you are going to describe.
Then theres 2 lines about the issue itself.
After that “its so hard to talk about wp because of SS limitations” remark and it’s over.
Are you going to finish this or is this it?

Just to add, even if I get whitelisted I may not be able to logon for this week, lots of work etc.

I’ve been waiting for this for some time ^^
1. What is your Minecraft player name?
azyr
2. Why do you want to join Vergecraft?
I love the fact that it has minimal add-ons and stays on course for the main sandbox theme of the game. Also this is theverge we’re talking about :) Why would any sane verge reader NOT want to join vergecraft.
3. What servers have you played on in the past?
Tried a few of the most popular, didn’t like the heavy modded versions and they turned me off. Played mostly with family & friends on personal servers.
4. What do you want to work on / build in Vergecraft?
I’m really not sure, I want to get the know the feel of the place first and try to integrate into the theme if there is one. If not, I’ll make sure to be the builder of the first (?) Verge Rebel city as a some far off outpost to the main city.
5. Anything else you’d like us to know.
The cake never lies.

That’s the main gripe I have with non-removable batteries. You have no analog control of the device. Your soft-reset is also connected to software, what happens if that gets corrupted too? You obviously have to wait the device to run out of power. Well what if it is stuck on some erroneous calculation and the device is getting warmer and warmer every minute with no way of shutting it off?
Yea, maybe the chances of that happening are very low, but it’s still there and I want to be able to pull the plug if I chose to. Apple – you have paved the way to Skynet!

Well the real gem with Windows Phone 8 is that it will allow deep integration for 3rd party apps. Like Android has now.
So whether Skype is integrated into the OS code by MS or integrated into the OS at install doesn’t really matter.

A unified codebase would be welcome, but I think a wide adopiton of something along the lines of HTML5 would have a better chance at gaining traction on the big 3 OS’es.

Design tends to look similar if it’s closer to the “cutting edge” of what’s going on. It’s pretty inevitable that they end up looking alike. Theverge, in terms of design is pretty trendy.

You’re not, Chrome is. When I access your site from chrome sometimes it displays completely out of place ads on your pages. The ad spaces you use are replaced by other ads – which are generally scams and whatnot and generally locally targeted

The “look” of this MMO is nothing like what Elder Scrolls has had since the first one ever made. This looks and “reads” more like an issue of “using the franchise in name only”. I don’t have high hopes.

Whiel I agree with you, my guess was based on the guess that the jury aren’t too technical, hence will see it through a numbers game. “9 lines of code, 37 API” will be what appeals to them – thats why I’m guessing “minimis”.
If it was me, I’d say this was clearly a case of Google outright copying and would sentence them according to that BUT seeing how Sun was acting before Oracle bought them out that may be a reason to just say “fair use”.

10% -Google doesn’t infringe Oracle’s copyrights
20% -Google infringe them but are fair use copying
50% -Google infringe them but they are de minimis
20% -Google infringe full them
Guessing ofc.

Google has power over h264 and is trying to push forward its own codec too. I don’t see this healthy for anyone.

Not suprisingly. Then again there was a time when these companies downgraded each other too, the explanation was something along the lines of “looking at the current world economy, as the forecasts will be harder to nail, these companies are less trustworthy”. If that isn’t a paradox I don’t know what is.

Well let the people in in smaller batches maybe? That would ease the monitoring process.

I didn’t mean “bait and switch” – but wrote a mutation of it and then realised it didn’t fit into what I meant at all.
What I meant was this “do this and get that” is tiresome. Dropbox should instead just add more space for everyone and at least try and match gdrive’s 5gb.

I don’t think I used that term correctly, actually I might not have even written it right.

The recent pushes for Gdrive and SkyDrive have put them under the spotlight and I don’t see too many people returning to dropbox.
Also, this “bait and catch” thing Dropbox is doing is getting annoying.
