So they basically told the whole story in the trailer?…Why…do ..they …do..this?

This problem started when they started differentiating between teasers and trailers. By definition, trailers should be nothing more than a teaser. I mean come on …they basically summarised the film in 3 minutes and left out the last 10 minutes for suspense.

But…well the film looks really awesoome.

The Rift is turning out to be a real thing..with real support…..extremely psyched about this.

Personally…did not expect this kind of support for a relatively non-mainstream idea.

Although I do like Abrams, for his project (Even revolution is not all bad imo)…I am 100% sure that if it really comes down to a showdown, Joss whedon is a better film-maker by a long margin.

I have the feeling that Whedon obsesses about the story and screenplay, in a way that Abrams just does not.

Somehow this case is actually more interesting than the Apple vs Samsung thing.

When looked at a fundamental level, this case seems weird….as amazon was the behemoth back then…and apple was basically a nobody…..in the e book space.

But then you read everything…and subjectively it looks more damning for apple. Their reasoning maybe sound (get rid of a monopolistic future with amazon) but their actions were a little bit borderline illegal.

It will be interesting..this case

Serve them right.

Piracy can never be stopped….basically due to human nature. They can be controlled with more sensible pricing and in general, a more modern way of thinking about content distribution.
