Tell me what the general consumer do that they can’t do on Windows 8? They watch movies, Facebook, browse the internet, maybe use Words and PowerPoint, and listen to music. All of this can be done through Metro. MSFT is trying to make a OS that fits the general public and one for professional. The desktop will live on for those who need it.

Why do you say that? If the school lock down most of the features and pushes you to the desktop, I think it would be better due to Windows 8 speed. Those computers with Windows 7 at school are slow but put Windows 8 on it and it will fly.

A desktop is still need to create and work on. MSFT won’t get rid of the desktop since how would you have 4 different program open at the same time and on the same screen? Windows RT will just be used most of the time for a majority of people. There however will always be a demand for a desktop.

The results are as good as Google. Sometimes Bing wins and sometimes Google wins. Bing has a better reward points in my opinion.

I love Bing streetside views. They look way better than Google in my opinon but it lacks the coverage that Google has . I am surprised the people in Germany put so many request to be blurred out.

Windows RT has some pretty strict requirement for hardware. If they can make a 10" Window tablet for $249, that would be great for Microsoft.

That is pretty negative. Steve Jobs still deserve respect. If anything, he pushed other companies to innovate.
