Or you can use bartab which does exactly the same thing (and more like automatically discharge an unvisited tab for a certain period a time => less RAM consumption and speedier restart) since FF 2 or 3 if I remember correctly.
This is why I don’t use Chrome, even if I have hundreds of tabs “open” it won’t screw up my RAM and if I restart FF it won’t take forever.
