He said ‘important’. Also, Jony Ive isn’t the sort for hyperbole.

You realize that the the iPhone has less hardware failures (including the glass back) than any other phone out there? No? I guess not. Then again, most journalists don’t care to talk about the slew of other random phones out there.

You are absolutely lost. You really have no understanding why the iPad is so popular. I don’t even understand why you bothered to comment.

Apple will have a 3 year head start on tablets and developers. I don’t think you see how much potential trouble is on the horizon if WOA doesn’t beat the iPad.

Android is supposedly all open source so Apple, MS and others have to go after the manufacturers who are profiting off the alleged patents infringed upon.

This has really got to stop. How many true innovations have occurred since ’07 in smartphones? Very little. The innovators have been MS (just with live tiles), Palm (WebOS) and Apple. Android has contributed virtually nothing (if anything at all) in terms of innovation.
Nokia sues. MS sues. Palm has sued. Yet everybody likes to single out Apple as if they’re doing something wrong. If Android was truly as innovating as you like to believe it is, it wouldn’t be facing so many lawsuits.

Name three innovations with Android. If you can’t then be quiet.
You live in some kind of imaginative world where everything originated from Android when it’s just a mish-mash of other smartphones. Heck, from each point in the early prototypes of Android they were stealing hardware and software designs from everybody else. Not much has changed since.

Tell us all how much you hate Google because they screwed over every American with net neutrality.

No, people don’t "prefer" the larger tablet.
Yes, they do.
Survey: Business Tablet Users Prefer Large Screens, Long Battery Life, and Windows
What Apple’s next iPad model must have to maintain edge
From the article:
According to Yankee Group’s 2012 U.S. Consumer Survey from March, 71 percent of people who intend to buy a tablet in the next six months prefer larger tablets in the nine-inch to ten-inch range while 13 percent prefer smaller tablets that are approximately between five and seven inches.
Anyway, the only way your statement is true is if Apple provides both sizes for the iPad and the larger one still sells better.
So you’re saying the iPad is so dominant that the only way to prove this is by Apple releasing a 7" iPad?
