Honestly you might be the worst commenter ever on The Verge.
By the very definition of the law, this is stealing.
And I’m sure Disney agrees,.

I think this piece on a setup and workflow for using an iPad for writing and other work is a good weekend read: http://interchangeproject.org/2012/05/08/my-ipad-setup/
With the right workflow, the iPad can be integrated pretty seamless into a writer’s workflow.

Some are wondering why Instapaper is so popular in the iOS community. The reason is fairly simple: It’s a great app and service that helps many of us do our work better and keep our lives better organized. Instapaper was one of the original read-it-later apps, and it’s still the best.
It’s the kind of little app that helps make our devices better, and it is really is an incredible reading experience on the iPad. All day long I find new stories, blog posts and studies to read. I don’t have time to read them at work, so I click my Read Later button in my menu bar (or in the many apps that integrate Instapaper support). At night, I take out my iPad, sit on my couch and catch up on what’s going on in my world.
I wrote a long post about my iPad workflow and how I use my iPad for work purposes. Instapaper is an invaluable part of that workflow.
It’s a simple, beautiful app from an independent developer that just works. What’s not to love about it?
We need more developers and apps like this.

I have to agree with this. Metro is where MS expects people to be spending their time in with Windows RT. In fact, I’d wager that the next release of Windows RT no longer has the classic environment. This is sort of like the transition that Apple made between Classic OS and OS X.

I think this depends on your definition of copied.
If you define copying something as burning a CD or photocopying a book as copying then clearly this is an original work of art.
If, however, you define copying as designing a product that looks almost identical to a competitor’s product — a design you would have never thought of before said competitor’s product came out — then, yes, this is copying.
But sometimes we just have to argue the meaning of is.

Just drink sugar, and if you’re concerned about your health, don’t drink these beverages. I wouldn’t trust a diet beverage any more than I’d trust one with sugar.

On a more serious note, is there an address to send Paul written letters to?

Paul, you’re a national treasure.
I can only hope we start to see more little tidbits like this. The experiment is fun. My only complaint is that we haven’t heard more about how it’s going.

More importantly, will customers be able to use an iPhone app as their ticket?
I just purchased an Amtrak ticket online., and all I got was a piece of paper with a barcode. I have to take that barcode and have it scanned at the Amtrak station and then get a paper ticket printed off. I’d settle at least for the ability to print tickets myself, but I’d really love to just be able to purchase and store tickets on my mobile device.
