I’m sure for the many who use it as a status/coolness symbol when theirs breaks they immediately run out and get a new on or put a case on it at that point. Like those people who buy cases that have the spot of the Apple logo cut out. I mean why else would you purposely buy a case that protects your phone less just to show off the logo?

This is how the cable companies want to fight off competition. Since they don’t compete with each other better they help each other fight off ATT Uverse, Verizon Fios and DirectTV. Seems anti-competitive.

I’m against Appl’e proposal, not because of Apple, but because the US telecoms are for it.

Verizon does have a head start. But in the end it’ll be where ATT/TMO/Sprint is wen people’s contracts are up later this year, not today. Where I am LTE speeds have gone down quite a bit since it was first delivered from 20 Mb down to about 10.

Is the Monthly 4G another SG2 variant I hadn’t heard about? I’m just saying the terrible name would fit for a carrier variant.

If you aren’t under a contract I can’t imagine they have any obligation to give you unlimited. I’m sure the month-month people will be the first to see it happen.

Those crazy people not worrying about how to it looks to a select few and care more about getting the best device for their needs. Such ridiculousness.

So if I understand your argument it is : Because you like ESPN everyone should have to pay for ESPN. ESPN’s innovation should not come off the earnings of people watching, but everyone who wants cable TV. Correct?

It was a conscience decision as if it would have had good battery life it would have betrayed the EVO brand name.

This struct me as well. It was just mind blowing that they just don’t give a f%ck.
While I understand everyone excited over a well done article it’s unfortunate you have to go so deep into the comments to actually find people discussing the topic itself.

Most things on 60 minutes I know what it is about and where it will end up. It’s how they got there that’s the interesting part, the processes involved. So while I also agree the 60 min reference may be too much, I thought it fleshed out the story and exposed processes and details that most people didn’t know. For example the level of coordination between all these crooks I found pretty interesting.

This is one of the few games I still remember playing very clearly as for me most games are quickly forgotten after a year or two. I never played the second one but this one looks pretty impressive especially if the described story/play elements are executed well. Now to see if I have the free time.

you’re assuming that that’s the only limitation. What happens if all Internet activity launched from the desktop environment can then only run in IE? So every link in an Outlook email would only work in IE? I think we need more info before saying it is trivial.

Quite the opposite. They are trying to get the attention of the press and other non-tech people who don’t know the difference. If they said they don’t like something about Windows RT there’s the chance people who be ambivalent about the complaint not knowing what it is. Make no mistake, other than tech people utilizing MS products and tech blog readers, no one known what RT is.
