you can multiselect pictures, you have a “select” button at the bottom.

a working compass in the map = tap twice to change map orientation (like on iOS).
i love my lumia 920 BTW, could never go back to any other phone !

of course there is a task switching gesture.

keep your finger 2 seconds on the back button and you got the last 8 apps shown as cards.

you also can search the apps using the search icon on the right of the home screen.
