I requested to be a driver when/if they come to Toronto.
Last year my father needed a ride to the hospital. Wasn’t an emergency but he wasn’t in shape to be taking public transportation, and the taxi is a rip-off for the little distance he needed to travel. It was mid day and we were all working downtown, unable to get to him.Something like Lyft would have been great. I figure I can try to offer something like that to someone else.
