I’m all for toning down the glass in 8, but I personally liked the Aero effects to some extent, especially in 7. It improved my experience, and I honestly thought the Basic theme looked like shit. Aero flip was nice, and I quite like some of the glassy effects.

Honestly, I don’t know if that’ll even ever happen. They discussed it what, in November 2010? I’ve been looking for that for so long, and so have so many Bing users. It’s insane how they haven’t even mentioned the idea. It could put them so far ahead of Google.

Perhaps you need to tie Twitter to your Windows Live? Not sure.

Not that it isn’t great that Google allows customization there, but IE has allowed that since forever as well, and not allowing it in the browser would have caused a giant uproar. It wasn’t so much a “nice act” as a “we have to do this.”
