We’re told that AT&T sales representatives do not like Facebook Home or the First at all, and they are making little if any effort to sell the handset to customers.
That’s one reason why Windows Phone isn’t gaining traction faster. The carrier reps have to believe in the product or it’s DOA as most consumers rely on the sales rep to basically decide on a phone for them.

To the masses (eg those who aren’t visiting The Verge) “most-used” = “they gotta be doing something right.”
Take cars. Building your midsize sedan in such a way to become “America’s best selling car” is expected. There’s a significant number of Camry sales that are driven almost purely by inertia…hearing/seeing the ads that say it’s “America’s best selling car!” and looking around and seeing the cars in the wild.
“Well my friend has one…” “A lot of people drive em, there’s gotta be a reason…”
Meanwhile the car is nothing special from even a quality perspective.

the contents of a MIS major tends to vary by school. Most colleges should have a list of the required courses you’ll be taking, it might help to take a look at it.
At my school, MIS is part of the business college: You’ll get a Bachelor’s in Business Administration along with the MIS stuff so keep that in mind….you might end up taking courses like Accounting, Economics, Business Law, etc.
Advice: I’d look up the school’s MIS program, see what courses you’ll be expected to complete, and perhaps work on getting up to speed in the subjects that you think might cause you some trouble over the summer.

Aero gave us the key-combo to rotate the screen, which equally baffles folks).
That wasn’t Aero, that was a Intel driver feature…

Wow, this is likely the first consumer Windows laptop line to seriously have my attention. Great price, great specs, and…most importantly…a seemingly solid physical build? Well done sony.

And then there’s this thing where the loud minority inflicts an opinion of the masses not already predisposed to the operating system.
AKA, The “Vista” effect. Was Vista brilliant. No, but the majority of that was the fault of device makers writing crap drivers, Intel trying to shift outdated chipsets, and computer makers saddling mainstream machines with only 1 GB of RAM.

If Ford can stave off criticism for supposedly overinflated MPG numbers, I predict great success. The Fusion Hybrid’s always been a more entertaining steer than the Camry, even the last gen model.
