Jolla is made up of people who left Nokia when Nokia cancelled MeeGo in favour of Windows Phone.

So I don’t think Jolla would be too co-operative with Microsoft.

Given that a lot of the new Asha UX is borrowed from WP (check the official app design guide ), especially the back button, and that it’s been stated by the WP team that they use Nokia’s design resources, I think it’s safe to say there’s at least a little cross pollination going on. I’m actually not too fussed about a notification centre, unless it allows inline actions relevant to the app (like tweets in the me tile)

Also, your last point about language switching.. you just need to go to settings > keyboard and add another language and there’ll be a little button on the keyboard that lets you cycle through all the ones you chose.

either your apn settings are wrong (can happen if you switch sims) or your network is doing something weird (t-mo uk blocks any audio or video file when i go over my data limit, weirdly not netflix)

to check apn settings, go to settings > access point and make sure you’re on the right network

I’d like a “real time” api for tiles, to enable things like the current music + videos hub. 3rd party apps can achieve a similar effect at the moment, but due to the way tiles are constructed, they just can’t be as good.

It’d be cool if a dev could directly use XAML or even DirectX on a tile, making them truly live.

and if a website links to skype:username then that’ll launch skype specifically
