Its more of a convenience, carrying around an external battery and cable is cumbersome since I don’t always have my bag with me, also It would only cost me $100 to get the iPhone so it ins’t that expensive of a venture.
Its between the One and the 5 because they have external battery cases that I would be intending to pick up. aside from the already supposedly superior battery life on the 5.
I had a note 2 for about a month and it was a bit to big to be used comfortably and I already have a N7 so it would be a hassle, My mother is using it regardless. and I like the battery life of the Maxx but the phone itself just seems bad compared to the N4 so I cant bring myself to downgrade so much just for battery life.
Interesting situation, mine is a bit different because Personally I’m on the $30/month play but my parents are on the new value plans so they’re eligible for the $100 upfront cost. That’s why I’m not worried about the new iPhone being better since I could just trade up if need be.
on the Nexus front either way I’ll still have my N4 so ill experience all the I/O goodness so unless google releases a phone with a 4000mah battery i dont think they’ll have me sold on it
I’ve rooted all of my devices before the N4 but I just cant bring myself to root this one. It takes so much time and effort to make sure everything is running smoothly and properly when roming and keeping up to date is just a pain for me personally
Dont get me wrong I like what you can do with roming and rooting I just want to run stock until there’s no alternative
I can squeeze out a full day but I’ve started to use it more so it barely lasts long enough from me to get out of class.
I’m a heavy google user but I haven’t spent that much on apps, maybe around $30. that aside I don’t have any other apple devices aside from an apple TV.
I’m glad to hear about the great reception. Thanks for the input
Dont get me wrong I love my N4 its just that its battery can be quite depressing sometimes. I wont be selling it either way and plan to use it as a secondary device.
