Going by that logic great film directors shouldn’t get any recognition because few of them act, write scripts or do the production work.

Jobs directed some of the greatest tech creations in recent years, he directed one of the greatest tech companies and co-founded one of the greatest animation studios. This will long outlive nerds like you trying to downplay what happened.

Such rubbish. Choice in iOS extends to quite functionally different browsers, sure the rendering engine is webkit but that is of little concern to 99% of users.

They are different browsers, functionally some of the alternatives are very different to stock Safari. They use the same rendering engine however (except for Opera Mini).

The alternative browsers do MUCH more than skin Safari, they all use the webkit engine but considering it’s miles ahead of other engines I don’t consider that a problem.

You also get browsers like Opera Mini which doesn’t use Webkit at all.
