It means Google is losing control of Android and its falling into the hands of the evil corporation Samsung. (All they care about is making their money.)
Samsung is obviously winning and that is happening at the expense of the other phone manufacturers. Its changing the way, the average consumer thinks about Android. And that is against the very open-ness of Android.
The one way it could continue to win without cannibalizing Android, is by taking the Amazon approach. Dont advertise itself as Android. Have its own services and products. Maintain Independent Development on top of the Android code (without forking it)… You know the Amazon approach.
Only Samsung affords to do that. HTC, LG or Sony would lose if they do that.
Its worse. Just take a GS3/4 or Note2 and take a walk under the sun. Just a casual walk. Yo’ll come home wiith an expensive Greasy, Sweaty, Fingerprint Magnet
But just get a Silicone case. It solves that problem
Most definitely not I have a a big major problem with all the crapware and gimmicky features which come with it. And from a UI design standpoint, It looks ugly and inconsistent. Look at S Hub and S Health.
And using a case never makes a phone aesthetically better. It makes it only functionally better. So No
I like The Verge reviews. I tend to agree with them completely all the time. I’m serious. All the Time Its like they reflect exactly what I think of a certain device. (No! my opinion is not shaped by the reviews, they just tend to match my opinions. )
A more objective and impersonal review might be needed sometimes, for that I just go to AnandTech or GSMArena.
OS X Mountain Lion is Great. Its amazing. It does fall short in a few places… Like Multi-Monitor Management. Or the way it handles iCloud. etc… And Skeuomorphism is not a problem. I dont mind skeuomorphism. (I do like Google’s Minimal Design more though)
OS X is doing great. I think that Apple should make iOS better.
