Does anyone else not understand what the Facebook App Center is for? I assumed it was like a centralized place for facebook games and the washington post read, etc…where they are within facebook. That makes sense. Or is that the case…?

Should have included pictures, would’ve made this post prettier. But anyway, I’d say
1. Lumia 900
2. iPhone 4S
3. …..One X? No other phone designs excite me really.

I think these ideas are good functionality -wise, but in terms of ease-of-use and continuity in the OS, it’s not really the best solution. I think the reason the app switcher in iOS is so small is so it keeps a limited, clear functionality. With this app switcher plus the notification center, I think there’s just too much going on.
The app switcher should maintain recent apps, and I would go so far as to say that they should put less functionality in the app switcher and move the music controls and settings into the notification center, kind of like how you can change songs in the notification bar on android 4.0. IMO keeping the functional, more interactive OS-wide actions in the notification center will make more sense to more people.
A good way to reconcile these ideas is to add the way you have the top bar showing up when you access the app switcher, so you can get to (more easily? idk if you can swipe down and get to it anywhere already) the notification center from anywhere.
Overall I think Apple is going to do something else entirely with iOS6 and consolidate the notification center/app switching/widgets into one thing just like Mission Control on OSX Lion.
