? Windows has over 4 million programs available for the device. Its a legacy machine and every program I can run on my computer I can run on a full size Windows 8 tablet. An if they have a Wacom stylus, its the same as using a mouse. Civ 5 for example is fantastic example of using legacy apps on a modern tablet. Additionally, have you ever played Skyrim on a iPad? I ran that game on low setting on my Surface pro and it ran like a charm. Its amazing how far these slates have come. Anyway, before I go on a tangent, Windows 8 has millions of apps that end users can use on their device.

The point of a segment of the ad was to show that the iPad can only do one thing at a time. The apps are all well and good, but your proving Microsoft’s point. If that app was on Windows 8, I could still check my twitter (as shown in the ad) will using that same app you are presenting.

When I was in accounting my iPad couldn’t even load our weekly power point slides on the keynote app. The tablet is broken in that sense for me. Also consider the fact that I can’t even use a computer mouse, but for some reason I can use a external keyboard on the device. I remember Steve Jobs stated that poking a touch screen in inefficient, but poking an iPad screen when its connected to Apple’s keyboard dock somehow is.

The tablet does have flaws, but I guess it depends on who you talk too.

Agreed. MY Windows 8 computer boots up in around 9 seconds from being completely off and is ready to go. Every app opens up in an instant as well.

As someone who took a class in business law monopoly power exists regardless if you have to pay for something or not. Microsoft would have a legitimate claim against Google if this thing ever went to court.
