I’m on the Xbox One train, but the amount of verbal diarrhea that keeps spewing out of this guys mouth is astonishing.

I don’t know, but soon they are going to run out of conferences for people to hope they’ll do something else at.

This guy isn’t saying anything that isnt already public knowledge. If you had half a brain and weren’t just blindly jumping on the MS hate train, you could have discerned all of this yourself already. I don’t understand why MS is just choosing to take the PR raping, and not doing something more to positively spin and explain why they’re doing what they’re doing. Their responses have either been no response at all or “Yes, thats the way it is”. Lots of people obviously need their strategy explained (and sold) to them more clearly. It’s very early in the game though, Im sure they’ll do something.

To me, it seems like Sony just went on forums after Xbox’s announcement, took notes on all the things people were complaining about, and went the opposite way. It doesnt really feel like this was all their strategy from the beginning, more reactionary. This could either be a good or bad thing for them in the long run. Right now, obviously its a winning strategy. But I’m not so sure it will be that way forever.
Microsoft is taking a chance by trying to add more new features (some that arent game-centric) and taking new, totally different, and risky strategies. Right at this moment, the bad PR for them is overwhelming, but I could see it turning around and working in their favor eventually. They may be counting on the long game.
I don’t think the “war” is even started yet, no less over. Honestly, its still at least 4 months from release time. I’m interested to see how it plays out.

So, people who want an Xbox One are losers just because they don’t share the same opinion as you? Grow up. Its a game console. You’re trying to justify your decision by flaming anyone who doesnt want a PS4.
Also, gaming IS about corporate greed for money. Sony and Microsoft are giant corporations that exist for the sole purpose of making money. Sony doesnt give a shit about you or gamers any more than Microsoft does. In the end, they just want your money like any other business. Do you think game developers are charitable organizations too?
I’m starting to wonder how many people who are up in arms on the internet about the new consoles are just whiney self important 13 year olds. Because thats what it sounds like. Why do people care who buys which console? How does that affect your life? Just buy whichever one you want and live your life. The real results will show themselves 5 years down the line in sales numbers – incessant whining and flaming on the internet is pointless.

The design looks like they changed everything just to change everything. The previous stuff looked dated and some of it ugly, but I think they could have updated it to look fresh while still staying in their lane. They had a pretty solid, proven base to start from, I’m not sure just nuking everything was the best idea.

So, you’re mad because you wont be able play video games when you’re in the middle of a hurricane, when you go out to a party, or when you want to get away from civilization(!)? AKA all times when non socially retarded normal people would never give a shit about sitting in front of a TV playing video games? Have fun with your sad life.

So wait, what do we need it for? I get 20 Mbps, and I could definitely see 50 being nice, but 1000? Most people don’t even know what Mbps means, they just want YouTube to load fast enough.
