I use cs6 now
I love it, does soooooo many things expresso or coda can only dream about

I have been using windows since windows 98, up to 7 and I used macs for a while and I can say this proudly ; am not going back
To me I prefer mac
Part of the reasons are :
-no pc viruses
-gestures on the large trackpad
-better hardware
-no issues on macs, on windows its blue screen of death or something else

And now I can’t wait for the new macbook pro 2012 wooohoop WWDC should come sooner :(

1.) The intel hd 4000 can be used to power the retina display, intel confirmed this a while ago, go to macrumours in the pro rumours there’s. Alink
2.) People hardly use optical drive nowadays, I have an air with the external drive iv used it 2 times in 3 years only , besides people can buy the optical drive,its a sacrifice so they would love the slimness
3.) No ethernet port ? That picture is a MOCK UP , geez !!!! Pictures gotten before release are usually not that cleared, a MOCK UP again

4.) I can’t wait for the refresh love the rumours

-the mic is located by the side, so tough to hear you when skyping

Oh for literature ? It won’t impend you, it would help u because of its so easy to carry around
You can buy office 2011 for mac and u can use it very well infact, if you’re used to the office for windows go to lynda.com and buy the word for office 2011 (mac)

Cons ?
- shallow keyboard
- it gets hot when doing cpu intensive tasks
-Ram not upgradable

You could wait for the new curver 9230 I believe not very long
It has a dedicated bbm button or even go for the 9900 because of the keyboard you’ll love typing on it

Difficulty ? I would say easy, probably the verge hates IE users

Here’s why, after doing some sites, sometimes IE won’t render my sites well, I test it on crome,firefox,safari and IE but IE won’t just display it well. Part of the reason is that IE doesn’t support some things
For example, recently I was doing some CSS3, firefox and chrome displayed it well but IE couldn’t because microsoft is so behind and doesn’t support some css3 elements so it was a mess, and I really wanted to use the css3 elements so I went ahead anyway users of IE would have a bad site while the others wouldn’t , I had 2 choices: re-code my website and remove css3 or leave it like that, I had no time so I left it like that

Try doing some css3 stuffs and see whether it works on ie or Not
IE is just a big mess

ahh IE again, i don’t even use IE again,
as a web developer IE is something that i hate so many times my site end up not working 100% like it should be not to mention lack of support for many of css3 elements – doesn’t have spell checker also IE is a big mess

I had the same situation as you but just go for the Pro,well the macbook pro 2012 version
Its gonna be released before June be patient and it has ivy bridge you get a faster processor and a better graphics card Intel HD 4000 or if you opt for a discrete graphics card then good

The 2012 Pro is a hybrid- an SSD for OS and HDD for storage and it has a larger battery + the DVD drive is gone ,.
I wanted to buy the Air but because of the Pro 2012 i changed my mind and would go for the Pro
-the Pro has faster processor, Air is restricted to 1.7 Ghz but the Pro goes up to 2.5

Because you said you’ll be using flash,dreamweaver and gaming buy an extra asus monitor
Its good when using photoshop or dreamweaver to put the content on the left and have the controls or panels by the right

Is it something special or you just made a normal monitor stand vertically
