Sorry but WP is more efficient. A Lumina 521 runs the WP experience as well as a 920. You won’t notice a difference, it’s fast and responsive…the only place you’ll feel the hit is with some games but games on the phone isn’t for everyone.

Ding, ding, ding we have a winner. Most of that crap is unnecessary. The WP OS rocks and it’s fresh! This baby runs extremely well with low hardware specs…you have to throw memory and cores at Android just to give the impression of efficiency.

You forgot to mention that these platforms are 2-3 years newer than WP. With time apps will continue to grow along with OS improvements. Its a lean, fast and efficient OS which is more credit than I’d give the others. Put all the apps on WP and they’d be smoked by windows.

Not necessarily…Atom is right there and the next gen of mobile chips from Intel should exceed it and maybe even ARM.

Recent changes seem to indicate they are working towards it. WP8 now has the Win8 Core and the apps don’t require many modifications to make them work on Win8. Hopefully they merge the two. It would be beneficial to consumers and developers.

No likely…Sony always creates a great product but it’s over-priced! Would like to see something like this with WP8.

Same here but it’s good to have an app like Shazam for those that want to convert to WP. Some users don’t realize that WP has good feature integration with less dependency on 3rd party tools. Sure some would prefer 3rd party but I like the speed and flow this brings to the OS. It sets it apart from the rest.

These minor changes add up to a major overhaul. I’m excited I already enjoy Windows 8 and find it to be a superior touch OS…with these changes it will only help. I really think MS found its MOJO and it’s about to open up a full assault against the competition. This is a beautiful and POWERFUL OS in the hands of someone that takes the time to adjust.

Why? I can’t make Bing the default search on any Android device? How is this any different?

well…we’ll see. Hope they make the changes available to all users and not just the Enterprise release. I think they’ll get it right and then the cry-babies won’t have much more to tear up about.

I agree, looks nice. Not worried about it standing out because this isn’t a fashion show it’s computing. If you want fashion hit the cat-walk. I plan to buy the sculpt comfort, I use Win 8 daily and need a mouse with a win8 key.

Still not a good enough reason to give this bad boy a 7.3. It deserves a 9…MS will resolve it’s issues and with this display at least the Desktop apps can still take advantage if the devs write for it.

Yeah, will be nice to see what they come up with. I have the Ativ 500 and it’s a great device. It’s plastic backing takes some getting used to but that’s how Samsung roles…plastic for everyone!
