Posting from my new MBA. Pretty smooth, although I already encountered some f annoying OS X bugs. For example, my attempts to download Xcode via the Appstore program were met by error message that I need to review my profile because I have never purchased anything (or something like that) and that I must enable cookies to continue and could click for more info (nowhere to click LOL). That’s an instant downgrade for the Software score I would say. Now on to replacing Apple’s crippled utilities with GNU core. Oh also, my MBA didn’t ship with that cloth that you can wipe your screen with. What the hell? The rMBP I have at work shipped with it. Also, I wish there was a proper HDMI port. I hate the fact that I still need to buy an adapter..

My 2008 (early) WhiteBook costed about 1500€. 2.4 GHz Core 2 Duo, 4 GB RAM, Seagate Momentus XT 500GB ST95005620AS (put it in there a few years ago). Yours for 400€. I honestly doubt I can get even 100€ for this. Battery has swollen and needs to be replaced. Fans are on pretty much constantly. Case has been replaced. Other than that.. as new.

When you need power, you just ssh into a cluster. The cluster I work with has sixteen 16 core (Xeons) and two 32 core (Xeons) nodes, 512 GB RAM in each 16 core node, 756 GB RAM in both 32 core nodes. How does this compare to your laptop? ;)

It’s also way, way more expensive than this. I really wanted a ThinkPad X1 Carbon, but it’s like at least 500€ more than a maxed out 13" MBA..

Who cares. Anyone who is going to make an informed decision is going to pick PS4 over this MS fiasco anyway..

Not forgetting non-HD screen. Just wait and see, Apple will ship a flagship phone in 2013 that doesn’t even have a HD screen..

Glance clock feature’s impact on battery life
1. I have this on my N9. In fact, I have a lot more than just the clock there. I also have date, weather, upcoming events, and battery. Also, I can change the color, font, font size, etc. Its effect on battery? Less than 1%.
2. How come this display gets a 8, but the inferior – not even HD – iPhone 5 display got a 9?

Indeed. I hope it ends up being a Surface RT-level failure. I’ll certainly cancel my Xbox Live Gold the day PS4 is out.

I can barely wait for the iVerge to somehow spin it so that the iPhone 5 camera is just as good, if not better..

Yeah, when Apple steals it’s called ‘remixing’, when anyone else does it, it’s called, well, stealing. Just another day at the iVerge..

Kinect is just a gimmick, at least on Xbox 360. It barely works with tech demos like Kinect Sports, and is an absolute joke in everything else..
I was unfortunate enough to play this game

You forgot dat sarcasm tag.
Just in case you were serious. Do you have any idea how difficult it’s to pirate games on Xbox 360, assuming you also desire to play them online? Besides, what the hell does piracy have to do with selling used games?
