by now, android should be buttery smooth with all the high-powered devices coming out. yet, it has input delay on everything, even scrolling.

it’s just not a good experience.

funny. i’ve dropped mine on every surface you can imagine and, still sporting it’s $10 protective film, not a crack in sight.

shitty plastic feels shitty.

i’m talking like even a simple home screen swipe or flicking through some photos.

that slight delay on everything just ruins the experience for me.

ah yes but the key difference there is, none of what you mention incorporate the dreaded two-year carrier contract!

not sure if you’ve been living under a rock or not, but apple work on a two-year refresh. they released an updated model at the one year mark to catch people coming off their contracts (think 3GS → 4S).

ah yes but android has input delay… ON EVERYTHING.

in other news, android rumoured to get smooth scrolling & swiping in its next update

seems like nothing but “black rectangles with round corners & a glass surface” now, but it’s something that microsoft tried to succeed (and failed miserably) with for over a decade.
