Umm…the publishers were afraid of Amazon’s stranglehold because Amazon charged consumers too little. They went after publishers and Apple for colluding to charge the consumers more. So yes, they went after Apple and the publishers, you have a problem with that?

I have no love for HP either, I wished HTC would have bought Palm. But all the mishmash doesn’t make a device pretty. We’ll never have cards in Android, when Android gets cards, and I can swipe to home, I’ll buy Android.

Agreed, those aspects of webOS that Android keeps stealing just doesn’t cut it. I think there’s hope. My plan is to stick with the 4S until a nice looking Nexus device comes out, then by that time, Open webOS will probably be out in the wild and I can install it there. I am actually getting annoyed at Android because of how Google is poaching all the webOS programmers. HP might as well start using up Palm’s patent and sue the pants off of Google.

That makes sense…maybe. I’m just becoming bitter every day that webOS never had nice hardware, and died as a result. I just want my cards, swipe to home screen, swipe to delete. That reminds me, swipe to home screen beats the crap out of those crappy ass software button on ICS any day. I also switched to a 4S, and find myself swiping up all the time and cursing Apple.

You’ll get no complaints from me. Unfortunately, I dont think that’ll happen, that’s why I feel like this is bad news. Android just doesn’t look good to me…..at all. It doesn’t feel well thought out. webOS is the most eloquent OS I have ever used. If Google turned Android like webOS, we’ll finally get the Apps we desperately need, and Android finally won’t feel cheap.

Granted, in my heart, I wish they do abandon Android and start contributing to Open webOS.

I think webOS on this phone would be sexy as hell! Unfortunately, the processor is probably not powerful enough, and also Sony invests a lot into Android. If I remember right, Google says Sony contributes more Android code than any other manufacturer out there. Which is a bit surprising, seeing how companies like Samsung and HTC make so much more money out of Android. But with so much contribution, I doubt they will invest on another OS so easily.

The phone is ugly. I was expecting it to be great, expecting it to be my next phone, and I have no need to make myself feel superior to say that whoever made it that design should be fired. We’re not here to make someone feel special because they worked so hard on a piece of crap. They aren’t kids, they’re grown adults. So all your posts sounds pretty retarded to me. People can’t say it’s ugly because they haven’t seen it firsthand? Well I got news for you, that’s what pictures are for, and I can see pictures of shit and know it looks like shit without seeing it firsthand.

Can you use AT&T with data only on their 3G and then use T-mobile for voice? This seems like a good idea if I didn’t hate AT&T so much and T-Mobile didn’t have a crappy network.
