So you’re trying to convince people Apple ripped off Android. OK. Thanks for starting this useless thread. You’re not trying to decide anything you’re just a typical fanboy masquerading as being open minded. Sorry you were found out for what you really are!

You started this discussion with the intent to show Apple stole from Android. You were disappointed to find that iOS users have had these features thru jailbroken phones for awhile and if anything, other OS’s borrowed them from iOS community. Now you’re going in circles. Not sure what your point is. Really.

So the Google exec just lost his memory when confronted. Of course he himself admitted that most of his testimony was prepared by his lawyers. Go figure.

Apple was dealing with a product that makes more revenue than ALL of MSFT combined. Windows Phone for now has the revenue of Apple TV. So it’s like Apple lost an Apple TV.
For all it’s worth, the current windows phone is doing so badly that MSFT probably needs this sort of publicity.

Palantir is a simple data integration tool set with some relationship graphing on top. People are making them sound like a genius company behind complex technologies. Most software the NSA uses is completely useless and a waste of money. They exist because they are ‘secret’. Google would have far more complex and better search algorithms than anything the NSA has. The NSA is more advanced than Iran but Google and Microsoft can easily so more. Palantir is just ordinary software that charges a premium due to the super secret NSA work that really isn’t anything special. So the secret is out now :)

You are repeating the same thing over and over again. What product was Braun competing with Apple on? Where are you from? What do you do? Just curious…

It seems you are deliberately trying to be thick. Apple sued Samsung for copying the design of a contemporary product in the same line they were competing in. Apple was inspired by other products in other areas that they adapted. Not sure why you can’t see the difference. You either don’t know much about design or you’re just being obstinate.

I recently switched from owning a Vaio F Series + X Series notebook with a 2011 MacBook Air. The MacBook in my opinion is much better than the Vaio’s hands down. I ended up replacing my Vaio TV all in one with an iMac. I used to be a huge fan of Sony hardware. I still use a Vaio TP for my home theatre. But recently I’m happier with Apple gear. I added an Apple TV and the home theatre PC gets used less often. I only use it for Blu Ray….might get a Sony 4K TV though when my Kuro is ready for an upgrade :)

The Logitech keyboard cases are pretty good. I am using one with my iPad mini. However, the best keyboard for pure typing is the Apple Bluetooth keyboard. It’s fantastic and works for all devices.

No. Surface is the Zune of this generation. It’s not what people want to use outside of IT shops.

These types of ads will work until Apple can show they have a decent product in the post Jobs world. So far they don’t have much to show.
I guess Jony Ive would like us to believe it was he and not Jobs that built Apple’s success and he has the opportunity now to show it.

iPhone has the highest usability data – whether it is number of apps downloaded, web traffic…anything that anyone has ever measured. From customer satisfaction to using apps. It’s not the most widely sold probably. But it’s usage metrics beat ALL Android devices combined other than # of activations. That is just a fact and there are lots of sites that have this data. All independent from Apple.
