One area of this phone that I dont think anyone has covered is the environment created by samsung for their products. Outside of Apple, has anyone really put that much effort into it? I’m not a fan boy. Getting that out there so you can all have an opinion mind and an unbiased opinion.

Android/Google excels in the numerous devices available. Regardless of taste, there’s more than like handful of devices per individual preference. That said, there’s almost no focus on anything further than the device itself. Smartphone manufactures need to begin considering the environment around the device. But that’s my opinion. I think that’s why Apple has the leg up in general consumer electronics… obviously we know better thou. :P

To Start off… all design/aesthetics is personal opinion. Just like how I think all black /dark phones look like something from the stone age. In every movie that does a decent (subjective again) job depicting what the future looks like, do you see boxy black objects?

I like the device. I like the white. Very clean, sleek and looks enjoyable to use. I wish there was somehow more metal incorporated into the design. Whats around the edge doesn’t really do it for me. I, personally, like the direction Asus is going in the product development.

All that aside, the device looks good and seems very capable. I think the real question with emerging technology is how ‘future proof’ the device is. If smartphones become the new computer when they’re docked, will the S3 hold up…

That one geebee of ram works for now. But, if you told me, I should go buy a laptop with one gig of ram, Id laugh in your face.
