lovin’ it. the cool tones in the sky are so wonderful and contrasting to the warmth in the city. It almost feels apocalyptic with the slight red-ish hues.

ISO 1250MAN WAS IT GREAT to shoot a concert again! I shot The Cave Singers at The Commodore Ballroom in Vancouver. To my surprise, they’re a fantastic band; i had never heard of them prior to shooting the show. I want to know what you guys think of this photo. It definitely wasn’t one of the best shots, but I thought it was interesting enough with the yellow backlight.

I get what you’re trying to do here, and I like it. If only his head was just a little bit more forward, the execution would have been better. Alas, it’s one of those things you can’t really control.

For the past year, I’ve been shooting with a Nikon D700. It’s not that old, compared to what the above users have been using. But when I tried out my friend’s Canon 5D3, I felt like my D700 pales in comparison to that.

i definitely like what you’re doing for your editing; the style’s lovely and it works well with the shot. just avoid thinking of other’s editing styles as better/worse, it’s all subjective and stuff ya know

You could get a Yashica Electro 35 rangefinder easily for under a $100. I got mine for $45 (about 33 euros). With the leftover cash, you could buy yourself more than 50 rolls of film :D
