By ecosystem you mean app selection, right? I really haven’t come across a single app that I genuinely miss from my old android phone, besides a few games. Then again I was never was person who had 100s of apps on my android either.
I came from a Galaxy S Epic 4G with a physical keyboard. The 920 is actually thinner than that phone. So I’m in the same boat as you are. I really don’t mind it being heavier than the competition either.
The only thing I miss from my Galaxy S phone is swype. I loved using it to text. Other than that I have everything on my 920 that I had on my android phone. Plus I didn’t have to root it and install custom ROMs to make it run well. Got sick and tired of having to do so much work just to make my phone work well.
I’ll just stick with MetroTube. Gets the job done and does a good job of doing it. Only problem is there area few videos I just can’t find using MetroTube.
