Is there confirmation that MetaWatch fully interacts with iOS’’ messaging system? I’m only seeing iPhone "compatibility," which Pebble can also claim.

What? There was loads of fighting and angst and work at the time… Macs were toys, real work was done on DOS, etc. The difference was that you had to argue face to face with actual people.

I was always amazed that there was support for a service like this inside the US.
It’s a great time for online music/music discovery apps, but there’s still a long way to go.

Form follows function simply refers to the form having a higher priority than function.
That’s the opposite of what the phrase means. The form of a thing is derived from the function of that thing. The function is the priority and the form follows to support the function.

I did that a week ago flying out of SFO. Waited 20 minutes for someone to come around and do it while the TSA by me would shout "Manual opt-out!" every few minutes. None of the eight officers standing around in eyeshot were qualified, apparently.
It was also fun when someone manning the machine said "Calibrating!" and they routed the next five or six people around it — and the metal detector — as I stood waiting for a trained pat-down official.
