But what you don’t realize is that in the future, maybe even 10 years from now, possibly many more people will be using Google Glass instead of/in companion to their smartphone. How can you tell the person that just glanced at you with Google Glass, just like everyone else on the street, is not recording you? What if Glass revolutionizes the way we communicate that taking a picture with a smartphone will become a rarity? Nothing backs up your opinion.

Data speeds are okay, just a small bit faster than AT&T HSPA+. I’m not sure if T-Mobile HSPA+ 21 or 42 Mbps is utilized in my area, but it doesn’t seem that way. Speeds are usually from 4-5 Mbps, and I can sometimes get 6 down if I’m lucky (with custom APN settings).

2. I live in the suburbs of Philadelphia and we have T-Mobile and AT&T HSPA, which are the two GSM networks used for Straight Talk here.

3. Phone calls are fine, although sometimes I wish I had HD Voice like on T-Mobile.

4. I once hit the limit after watching lots of YouTube bids over data, and they didn’t start to throttle until about 3GB, where speeds were so slow I thought about canceling my plan.

I also wanted to note that I used my phone as a mobile hotspot without a separate app heavily for a day and my service actually was SUSPENDED for a day. I had to call into India for TracFone’s terrible customer service to promise that I would never do it again and that it was forbidden. This was one of the main reasons I left ST for T-Mobile’s $30 plan with faster speeds.

So overall it’s okay, just that opinion varies on experience and it’s your call.

No, Google doesn’t have any stores and the only Glass Explorer edition models that are available for use are being used by developers, of which you could try to ask to try on.

I thought it looked like my N4 with an icon pack and a different clock in the upper right. It’s not until I saw that terrible Gingerbread vomit green battery indicator that I realized it was TouchWiz.

I don’t own the Gnex, but judging by many others the dual core processor is no match for the quad core in the Nexus 4. All I can say is that a TI chip with 1 GB of RAM, which is the setup on my Kindle Fire 2, vs a Snapdragon S4 Pro is literally night and day. Stock Android does not lag on my N4, while CM 10.1 lags terribly on my Kindle.
