After using the iOS 7 beta version since its release, the old UI seems even more dated than it did before (I also have a company-issued iPhone which is running iOS 6). That said, there are bugs and occasional crashes which should be ironed out before the later GM release goes public. But in my own opinion, it’ll be widely appreciated by the majority.
There are so many fanboys on The Verge that it’s becoming a painstaking effort to actually determine true opinions from those who are simply trolling. I use Android and iOS and for almost 24 hours have actually enjoyed iOS 7 (as a dev, not someone who just looks at photos on a tech site). Whatever you might believe, any sharing/stealing/enhancing of a competitor’s efforts, be it Apple from Android or vice versa, is to the benefit of the consumer. It’ll get refined, new features added, existing ones removed. It’s called evolution. And we’ll all benefit from such evolution in updates that will occur for years to come. So why not just chill out and enjoy whatever device you’re actually using and let others enjoy theirs without petulant bickering all the fucking time?!
Clearly Joshua hasn’t played with it enough. As a dev, the improvements made are a far cry from iOS 6 and in my own personal opinion, will be a welcome change to most users. I’d welcome all to upgrade when the GM is released. And I’m an android dev too, before I’m accused of being a fanboy for Apple.
So who exactly is running the United States of America? Because those who were elected appear to be nothing more than puppets to an old-school boys club who think that all of this is perfectly fine and so saw fit to make it secret.
It’s up to the UK to sort the tax system out with our European partners who need to agree a common corporate tax rate. This would remove the incentive for the multinationals to put their accounts in a low-tax EU member state. Google is not to blame here nor are Apple, Amazon and the likes… they simply work the existing system to their own benefit.
