Mac mini 2011, iPad 3 and iPhone 5 basically replaced my MacBook 2007 and dumb phone combo in the course of last year.

Annoyingly my circumstances have changed and now I have to be more mobile. Neither the iPad or 6 year old MacBook can really cut it.

Thinking about getting a second hand Air… Mo money…

I started using it for this reason and I’ve never felt compelled to switch as it still handles email exactly the way I want through Apple’s Mail apps

Good choice on the Grados. I currently use the SR80is. Really recommend pairing with a tube amp like a Little Dot. They’re relatively cheap and clean up the sound a lot. I’m guessing if you’ve spent that much on headphones you’re probably not just plugging them straight in to a MacBook though
