Infact it’s the other way around…the PS3 and 360 are very similarly speced with the PS3 a tab bit powerful on the CPU side and the 360 a bit more on the GPU side.. Also, PS3 has a complicated architecture and was plagued by difficult development tools, hence there wasn’t a huge difference.
Next gen, there is a large gap between the PS4 and One in terms of faster RAM and better GPU on the PS4 side (also more RAM as PS4 OS uses less RAM than the One OS). Also, the architecture this time around are same in both the cases, so this time around, you might see a bigger difference as compared to the last gen.
