Except it’s not really a port of the iOS app; rather they are both ports of the web app. If you were to make a Facebook app that really followed the iOS design guidelines, it would look pretty different to what they actually did. Personally, I like the way that it feels more like Facebook than whatever OS I happen to be using at the time.
The only app that fits its OS is the WP7 app, which is also the only one not made by Facebook and the one with the least features implemented.
