I just did it quickly, as I’ve not got much free time at the moment – I actually thought the post was pretty dull/badly written. I’m using Dashclock and I think it’s called beautiful widgets HD? It’s a widget app that was around £2.49?
If you can’t find it, I’ll grab the name of the app for you when my device is next to me.

Yeh, I purchased that one in the end – it’s done a very nice job. I did use Ubersync before – but I didn’t like the way that app worked/imposed itself everywhere.

I’ll always keep an eye on Windows Phone, but I cannot see it going anywhere until they change the OS dramatically.
Windows Phone is great in a few areas, but it’s let down by all of the small things that Microsoft have overlooked or are too slow to implement.
I may get a Lumia 720 however – if anything happens to WP8 in it’s next update.

No – you can’t! There’s so much more the Nexus does out of the box compared to WP. It also does the same task in a vastly superior way. The pull down notifications/settings menu is fantastic too – now I understand the call for a notification centre or aggregator for Windows Phone.

I’m in the UK, at the moment, it doesn’t make sense to get a device that has LTE unless you plan on keeping it for 24-36 months. It’s not something which is worth it for me at the moment, EE has limited coverage and is very expensive.
So by the time prices come down, and the infrastructure roll out I doubt I’d still have the Nexus 4 anyhow.
I’ve covered the glass back with a Dbrand skin, it looks ace, and i’m not worried about scratching it now either.

I’m angry because of how much I spent on Windows Phone devices – in 2010 it was a let down, and really, now my rose tinted spectacles are off, in 2013 Windows Phone is still very much deserving of its market position.
It might present a fresh OS for those people coming from other operating systems, but after seeing how little more it offers now compared to the competition, and to its first iteration, it’s no wonder HTC is selling the 8X on Groupon.
Android just seems very complicated, very “fragmented” and very anti-user from the outside. Windows Phone is great for my parents, for people who just want a phone that is a phone, but if you’re looking for anything more, it’s really just too limited and too underdeveloped.
