To be honest, 7.4 million doesn’t sound like enough money to build this sort of system.
I suppose they could outsource the tech support…

Why would they raise their prices? They will just tack taxes onto the transaction, just like everyone else does.

Aereo only sells to people within a geographic zone. So if you live in Chicago, you can only buy service from a Chicago-based antenna.
This does not actually affect marketing in any way.

Well… Netflix certainly isn’t cable. Nor is Hulu Plus.
But you are referring to the tech, while he is referring to the level of service. From an end-user standpoint, there is very little difference between satellite, cable, and the US implementation of IPTV.

Insane unions were the final straw, but Hostess was in dire straits well before that. They went bankrupt in 2004, and wound up shutting down a number of their operations. In addition, the executives were giving themselves raises as profits were dropping.
Unions went on strike, btw, because while those same executives were giving themselves raises they were cutting contractually-obligated pensions. The CEO took a 3.5 million compensation package is he left, even when the company was more than 860 million in debt.
But yeah, totally unions.

That’s because Hostess was mismanaged. Twinkie and other associated brands have been household names for decades. Sales probably went up after Zombieland, but the people in charge of that company were all sorts of incompetant. They had been in financial trouble for years.

This will continue to be a problem with copyright and simple titles using extremely common words. The same issue could crop up with “Defiance,” “Oblivion,” “Revolution,” and “Supernatural,” among others.

Bad product placement is the worst! It completely draws you out of the scene. It’s like the OnStar branding all over the Zombieland series pilot. It feels so forced and unnatural.
Surprising, considering how well Twinkies were integrated into the Zombieland movie.
