AT&T throttled data speeds on an unlocked phone I had a couple of years ago and when I called they said “we can’t guarantee that your service will work properly unless you buy an AT&T phone.” They never restored service back to normal after they found out what kind of phone I had. This was on a two year contract, not even prepaid. I’m so glad I switched to T-mobile, because AT&T has absolutely no problem picking and choosing how they go about being evil.

i personally think this is a good thing. last year was a bit of a mess with everyone getting distracted by the nexus Q. if the new hardware they’ve been working on and KLP aren’t ready for primetime, they shouldn’t try to force it.

i agree. i would like to turn the HTC logo into the home button and the current home button into the recent apps button. i really miss on screen buttons, it’s really hard to go back to capacitive buttons now.

i’m still sad that blackbean isn’t supported anymore, because that was by far my favorite galaxy nexus ROM. i have AOKP on there now and it’s very solid, i think it’s a great balance between powerful features and stability (if you go with a milestone instead of a nightly, which sounds like what you would do anyway)
