But wait… U-Verse, Verizon FIOS and Comcast all have XBOX applications. I actually have the U-Verse client running on my current XBOX and there is no need for a set top box. Also, I have friends who have DirectTV and they use an IP controller from Control4 for changing channels and controlling the STB. I don’t see why we have to be chained to an IR blaster to control when there are HDMI-CEC and IP as options.
With that being said, listening to the same game, and XBOX music on my two RT devices and an ASUS Touch Pro laptop, the RT devices are both louder – so to me there was never really an audio problem to begin with.
I understand how Bill Gates has earned his moniker of being a class act through all his philanthropy work and attempts of making the world a better place. Bill Gates is basically giving away 100B of his own money to solve global problems. But how can Steve Jobs even be considered in the same breath? What has he actually done that is on par with Bill Gates in terms of giving back to the world that made them wealthy? I mean rather then focus on doing something good for the world in his final years, he focused on building himself a yacht? I can understand trying to live life as if you are going to beat your illness, but couldn’t he have also focused on something a bit more charitable?
