I love Apple ads. They connect with us. The ads link the product to our everyday life.

One 55-year old man I know of uses his Galaxy S4 as his only device. For him, the 5 inch display may be more suitable than a 4 inch display.
But Apple devices are always clear in what they want to do, the kind of users it aims to satisfy. iPhone has always been designed to be an appliance, a companion device, NOT a replacement for your tablet, laptop or desktop. And that’s the case for most people, so a 4 inch display makes a lot more sense for the majority of smartphone users out there.

I’ve only owned Apple devices so far, so my evaluation may not be relative. Long story cut short, Apple devices provide an amazingly seamless experience across every single interaction with the user. It’s so seamless, nobody notices it, and we take it for granted. And that’s the way it should be; the device, the OS all disappear, and we are only conscious of the content we care about.

Umm… Did I say ever say that Android on every single device is laggier than any iOS device? My point here is, it’s simply shocking that, even with Project Butter-powered 4.1 and high-end hardware, an Android smartphone can still lag, noticeably. Yeah, TouchWiz may particularly be a resource hog, but considering the specs I don’t think the performance is acceptable. We can also blame the nature of Android that makes it so easy for both the OEM and the user to spoil the experience.

I don’t know why you guys have to nit-pick on every single word I say… But for me, I don’t really notice it. If you notice it, it’s too bad. But I don’t. That’s all that matters, right?

Yeah, I know Android is silky smooth and super good on Nexus 4. And that’s great.
in the op, I am not saying Android on every single phone is laggy. I said it just amazes be that Android STILL CAN BE laggy even after the Project Butter in 4.1 and the sheer computing power of GS3.

I don’t really get what you are saying.
iOS has millions of amazing apps that empower users to do things that are beyond anyone’s imagination. Just want to take photos, a simple UI and pay a premium price for a highly marked up slab of aluminium? I think you’ve gone too far off here.

I hope you don’t attack someone personally here, such as saying that my nickname is ironic and things like that. I can’t help think that it’s a bit too childish.
If you don’t see it on your smartphone, that’s great. I am not generalising Android as Samsung’s Touchwiz. Just saying that the fact that Android running 4.1 can still be so laggy on such a high-spec device.

Well, my thoughts are a bit different.
Whatever extra skins and software a smartphone has, it’s still the operating system’s fault for making it so easy to spoil the experience. At the end of the day, it’s still Android. Yes, it’s mainly Samsung’s fault for making TouchWiz a resource hog. Still, Google has to take responsibility for being so naive as to think that giving so much freedom to OEMs to change the OS significantly will only lead to more innovations and unique experiences.

In my opinion, Apple products are the most functional devices in the market. That’s why I buy them. Of course, plus the added value of the brand.

If you want to switch to an entirely different platform just because you are ‘bored’ of iOS, then I highly recommend you don’t. What iOS tries to do is to make you forget about the OS and help you focus on the content you care about. The App Store provides any user with tens of millions of ways to be entertained in really unique ways. If you are still bored, I don’t think you will satisfied with anything else either.

I bet the judges were bribed by Samsung. Samsung asked the judges to put the designer in the second place because if he is in the first place, nobody would ever believe it.

Yeah, I agree. The four-digit PIN is just useless. It just makes you feel safe. But if someone really wants to find it out, one glance is all it takes. I leave my iPhone unlocked all the time… If it’s lost, I can use Find My iPhone to unlock it.
