I really don’t want HTC to go under because I actually like their products. But I’d also secretly love to see firesale pricing for the One so that I can load up. I feel bad for that.

On a more serious note, HTC got murdered by the Nokia subsidies from Microsoft. HTC had the longest history supporting the Windows Mobile and later Phone platforms, but once Nokia got rolling there’s just no reason for anyone to buy an HTC Windows Phone.

I agree, avoiding confusion to users is the whole point. The best (and most effective) way to avoid confusion is to actually release an official app. Problem solved.

If Facebook is really that worried about third-party apps in their name they should actually put some effort into the platform before they start complaining. The Facebook Beta app for Windows Phone is a great start, but they need to get a Modern UI app out there for Win 8 and RT pronto.

Yeah..maybe I’m just out of touch but I don’t get how Taco Bell will use a service that self-destructs its messages for effective marketing. The whole point of marketing is that there’s on ongoing message/conversation. Unless Taco Bell just wants to perpetuate their brand as a social media-hip brand and SnapChat is just a part of that brand impression.

How is 1920×1080 on a 10.6" screen underwhelming? Seriously, try actually using it and telling me that you could discern the difference between 1920×1080 and 2560×1600. If anything, 1080 res on a 10" screen is too high for the Desktop UI which becomes microscopic without scaling.

Agreed that the music really fits the vibe of Paul’s year offline. A sort of mysterious but peaceful and ambient place of self-reflection. Would love to know who the artist is.
