There is a huge tradeoff between price and portability. In order to make this thing next-gen powerful AND cheap, there wasn’t really any room left to make it small.

It’s really hard for brick and mortar stores to compete with a company whose goal is a 0% profit margin and doesn’t charge taxes. At least now the playing field will be a little more level.

When I take a picture on my iPhone it instantly uploads to DropBox, and is on my computer.
What way do you share photos other than through the traditional means?

You see, that is how Apple does it and why they have so much success.
I attended a very interesting conference where the speaker (a neuroscientist and psychologist) showed that simply stating facts like “our phone has the fastest processor and most gadgets” does not, in any way, sell something to consumers. What is important is instilling positive emotion in your viewer, making them like your product, and the solidifying their feelings with superlative facts afterwards.
His work is backed up in years of research including everything from polls to actual brain scans.

Of course Windows sells more. It’s sold on thousands of different pieces of hardware with a range in price from practically free to really expensive. The cheapest Mac is still about 3 times more than a PC you can find at BestBuy.
If you compare high-end computer sales (the only market apple competes in) Apple sells much more than anyone else.
