It’s not that they are slow moving organizations using RIM devices… It’s the demand for secure products. When you can jailbrake/root an Android phone, or an iOS device just by looking at it, you aren’t saying much for security.

PBOS and BB10 are almost the same thing. RIM has been clear since PB OS2.0 came out, any app developed for the PlayBook will work on BB10. Developing on this alpha device gives the developers the resolution size (slightly larger than the PB) as well as some of the hooks that BB10 will have.
