RT tablets were too expensive at launch. People view tablets differently than laptops, and expect tablets to have lower prices. So, this is a step in the right direction.
Apps would have been more forthcoming with greater adoption. But the devices were too expensive and they didn’t sell. Now it’s almost too late for RT on non-embedded devices.
This is a good looking device, and if it came out originally in place of the 920 it would have been a very hot phone. It didn’t, however. Instead it looks like a catchup model for TMobile.
So, we can expect the next ATT model will herald the next “new” wave of flagship Nokia mobile devices. We can expect those to arrive running Blue and so sometime in the fall.
We can expect that the new top of the line will feature its camera, be slightly heavier than the 925 and come with wireless charging.
we can expect that new flagship will be for sale subsidized at $99.
The biggest mystery remains about how much new functionality will Blue contain.
I sure wish more mobile developers used Xamarin Mobile development tools to create native UI cross platform app code.
It makes releasing cross platform apps with native UX for iOS, Android and WP much easier, and reduces problems maintaining the the cross platform code.
