I don’t understand all the people saying “Who uses Google plus?” I don’t. But I don’t need to use it to use Hangouts. I’m signed up to Google+ because I have a Google account. It’s like I have an Apple ID and I use it with iMessage. It’s not like Apple ID is a social network I have to use. And nobody is forcing you to use + so relax. I do agree it should have SMS only so it could be like an iMessage that actually works. (I have an iPhone and nexus 7 just to be clear) My boyfriend has an iPhone, most of my friends have iOS or Android. My mum uses an iPad. Doesn’t use + but she’s going to use Hangouts as well because we won’t be able to iMessage when I switch to a Nexus phone. Anyway, long rant, but just drop the whole + bs please.
