Your frivolous comment doesn’t explain why you think they won’t be stolen. Here’s why I think so too: 1) There won’t be a way to use the tags practically, they would likely need a proprietary decie to reset. 2) I suspect most people wouldn’t recognize them as e ink displays.
This. It’s as if the press release was done too early, and their sites haven’t been updated. It’s exactly the same as before, there’s no link for international preorders, and if you try to buy one they tell it doesn’t ship.
Sure. It’s awesome that you don’t like the aesthetics of the One. But actually, no one really cares, not the least HTC. The point is an overwhelming majority of people love it. Aesthetics isn’t universal but it’s very close for the people that matter. You can argue that some indigenous African people don’t find Brad Pitt gorgeous, but most people who would watch his films will. It’s impossible to design something that every last person on earth will like, but the HTC team has come very close to it, and that’s what all product teams aim for.
Basically I don’t even see the point of your post. Are people explicitly assuming that you like the One as much as they do?
Correct. I had a friend all excited to test out his Note 2’s S-beam feature with others Samsung phones only to find he couldn’t get it to work. And he’s an IT professional.
