Right now you can get the HTC One @costco for $129 with a two year commitment. This get’s you a top of the line phone at mid-range price point. I have the One and the Galaxy Nexus and the One blows the Nexus out of the water when it comes to speed, camera, battery life, etc.
Upon further inspection I can see when booting to recovery there is a quick glimpse of some error code at the bottom of the screen and then it boots straight to the HTC logo. It happens so fast I can’t tell what it’s says at all.
I’ve tried adb reboot recovery and it just boots back into OS. I also downloaded the recovery from CWM website and loaded it and still the same thing happens.
One thing I am running into that’s strange is when I run a command adb reboot recovery or other adb commands I am getting the message adb server is out of date. killing… then daemon started successfully and the command completes. I’m not sure if that’s something or not.
Is there any way of looking in a file explorer to see if the *.img file has been copied to the phone?
Since I am now using an Android device I’d like to use this to locate the other iOS devices in my house. I have two teenage boys that constantly are losing/misplacing their device. The ability to sound an alarm or see an approximate location is a lifesaver.
I’m looking at this product and don’t see any mention of how this will install on an iOS device. Three of the four devices I want to monitor are iOS devices.
